Guru Nanak Cancer Care Trust (GNCCT)
Healing with Compassion, Leading with Expertise
Established: May 27, 2012 | Location: Jaonti, New Delhi
At Guru Nanak Cancer Care Trust (GNCCT), we believe in a world where no woman or family suffers silently from cancer due to a lack of awareness or access to timely treatment. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to illuminating the path of prevention, early detection, and comprehensive care for breast cancer, reaching out to women and communities across society.
Our Inspiring Genesis
GNCCT was founded by the compassionate husband and wife duo, Dr. Sukhvinder Singh Saggu and Dr. Rajinder Kaur Saggu. Both are highly accomplished surgeons whose professional excellence is matched only by their profound empathy for patients.
The seed for this noble initiative was sown from a deeply personal tragedy. Dr. Rajinder Kaur Saggu’s father was diagnosed with cancer and, within a mere two days, passed away before any treatment could even begin. This heartbreaking experience left an indelible mark. Guided by the profound wisdom of Guru Nanak Dev Ji – “The pain lies deep in the heart. Physician, go back and heal yourself.” – Dr. Rajinder Kaur Saggu embraced a powerful mission: to bring healing, hope, and support to every family battling the formidable challenge of cancer.
